The Grange Hotel, York

Bed was in all probability too massive for the size of room making a cramped feeling. We didn’t realise the hotel wasn’t set back from the street as a result of picture of frontage is cropped and therefore misleading. It’s proper on the principle road however taxis can’t drop you off on the entrance due to parking restrictions due to the pelican crossing.

• Our boutique style hotel, is a Grade II listed constructing in the prosperous ‘Bootham’ part of York, inbuilt 1830.
• There are two excellent eating places, and parking is free.
• A quick 10minute walk and you might be right at The Minster and all the surrounding shops/eating places.
• This is often probably the most price-effective method of transportation when visiting York.

Canine Pleasant Rooms

The morning room was a delightful place to have a publish-dinner drink. The location was handy for sightseeing, just a short stroll from Bootham Bar and town’s main tourist attractions. We stayed one night at The Grange, night meal and breakfast. Very homely, lounge has huge cumfy chairs and real fireplace. Room was comfy with all amenities wanted.

Our Ivy Restaurant has 2 AA Rosettes and is assessed annually; our breakfasts are certainly ‘Deliciously Yorkshire’.
